So I made myself a Facebook account, but I realised that not only are these sites a haven for phishers and fraudsters, it's also damn impossible to add friends if you don't know what they look like.
I've got loads of friends all over the world, many of whom I've never met - so adding them to Facebook is pretty tough.
So, what are you waiting for, add me to Facebook and say hello. You could even do something totally trivial - like throw a chicken at me, or, if you're feeling fruity, pet my fluffy friend - Cowe!

This is an amusing game - sent to me by a couple of sources. It's a Java game based around the recently released Portal. Which, if you've finished it (unlike me), you'll be craving more (I'd be happy to finish it once without being ill).
This might not satisfy entirely, but it's a fun game nonetheless.

This is a nifty game, perfect for wasting a half hour of your life...
You've got to make the orbs strike the grey cubes. The orbs are attracted to your mouse pointer but don't allow the cursor to touch the cubes, or move offscreen too far, or you'll lose the game.
This odd little Japanese game was sent to me today, and really, is so much fun I had to feature it in my column.

OK so it's totally non PC, but it's a fun game and well worthy of a half hour's play.
